At Bean Effect Coffee, our journey began with a passion for the rich, diverse world of coffee. Founded by John Shepherd, who fell in love with coffee during his transformative trips to Mexico, our company is built on a foundation of exploration and appreciation for exceptional beans. John’s experiences visiting coffee farms and connecting with local growers inspired him to share this love with others, leading to the creation of Bean Effect Coffee. We are proud to be based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada, where we specialize in roasting a wide variety of coffee beans sourced from around the globe.
